[The Hwankyung Ilbo] The Korea Green Foundation announced the results of its survey on fine dust perception.
In the survey, 94.7% of the respondents said they thought the level of fine dust was serious and 94.1% thought it was bad for health.
As for sources of fine dust emissions, 70.7% of the respondents answered China, recognizing that external factors are bigger than domestic ones.
As a solution to this problem, 63% agreed to find a solution through cooperation with China.
As for sources of domestic fine dust emissions, 49% said factories and power plants and 38% said the automobile exhaust gas.
70.4% of the respondents thought the government's role in resolving the fine dust problem was the most important. 24.1% answered companies’ role is important and 5.5% said civic groups’ role is important.
