[The Hwankyung Ilbo] The Rural Development Administration will hold an ‘2018 Comprehensive Report on Rural Development Projects’ to share the achievements of agriculture R&D and technology distribution of this year on December 27.

About 1,000 people will attend the meeting, including farmers, industry officials, academia and experts from the Rural Development Administration and the Korea Rural Development Institute.

The Rural Development Administration will report the results of eight tasks, which were promoted in 2018, and will present awards and exhibits of outstanding achievements in agriculture, science and technology research and development.

The eight main tasks include advanced agricultural technology innovation, stable food production, growing seed industry, creating high value of agriculture, developing competitive farmers, producing safe agricultural products, national living agriculture, global agricultural technology cooperation.
