[The Hwankyung Ilbo] The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Graduate School of Green Growth and Coalition for Our Common Future will hold the 5th Seoul Climate-Energy Conference on November 16 in Seoul.
The conference will focus on the theme of 'Hothouse Earth: How to Mobilize the Change for Our Sustainable Future' and will provide a venue for the government, businesses and the private sector to explore ways to implement sustainable development goals in a new 'climate environment era'.
In particular, the conference will review the 'Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030' meeting held in Copenhagen, Denmark in October, and a special session will be held to check on the future challenges for the government's response to climate change and sustainable development.
More than 40 global experts from government, business, civil society, and academia will discuss the trajectory of the climate system that threatens human survival, the financing scheme that will determine the success of the Paris Climate Change Accord, the Northeast Asia Super Grid, the era of blockchain, carbon reduction and fine dust solutions.
