[The Hwankyung Ilbo] The Ministry of Environment said it convened a meeting of officials at the director-general level at its headquarters and all heads of its agencies across the country to check the fine dust seasonal management system, in line with the full-scale implementation of it.

At the meeting, Environment Minister Cho Myung-rae, speaking to all executives and employees, emphasized the smooth implementation of the fine dust seasonal management system.

In addition, the environment minister asked for thorough management to prevent unexpected problems through continuous on-site activities.

Along with environment ministry officials, the environment minister asked public officials on the way to work to actively cooperate with the implementation of alternative-day-no-driving system in the public sector and distributed a promotional leaflet explaining the fine dust seasonal management system.

The fine dust seasonal management system, introduced for the first time this year, will be implemented for four months from December 1 to the end of March next year.
