[The Hwankyung Ilbo] The National Civil Defense and Disaster Management Training Institute under the Ministry of the Interior and Safety will provide ‘fine dust solution’ training to prevent fine dust and strengthen response capabilities from November 4~6 for those in charge of fine dust work at central government agencies and disaster safety workers at related organizations.

The education contents consist of theoretical lectures to understand the overall work of fine dust generation, measurement, forecast, reduction, protection, and response, and field trips to demonstration businesses for fine dust reduction technologies.

The ‘fine dust solution’ training is the first pilot program developed to reflect social issues and policy trends in the disaster safety sector.

The National Civil Defense and Disaster Management Training Institute plans to develop a new curriculum to reflect issues or policies that meet social needs such as cold waves and yellow dust, starting with fine dust.
