[The Hwankyung Ilbo] The ‘2019 Seoul Animal Rights March’ was held in Seoul on August 25, calling for the abolition of species discrimination and opposition to the use and exploitation of all animals.

More than 20 organizations, including animal rights groups, joined the ‘2019 Seoul Animal Rights March’.

The march went through Gwanghwamun, Jonggak Youth Street and Insadong-gil to the front of the Blue House Sarangchae, with various slogans such as “End of Species Discrimination,” and “We are all animals.”

After the march, a free relay speech was held to share the opinions of participants on the animal rights and vegetarian movement.

This year's animal rights march shows that there are growing voices in Korea who agree and support ‘animal liberation’ and ‘an end to species discrimination.’
